Reason #153 why Toronto is a cool place to live. . .

The carillon at Metropolitan United Church:
If the church is open and you hear the bells, go up and see the carilloneur. He'll talk to you about the instrument, let you ring a few bells and then take you up to see the actual bells. It's amazing and well worth the long climb up a very narrow spiral staircase.

Deal. By then I'll be ready to face all those stairs again.

He actually gets a lot of visitors from all over the world which kind of surprised me.

I was the only one I saw in the guest book that was actually from Toronto.
