It wasn't a very good song to begin with. Having it on a constant loop for two weeks was torture.
Canada is an embarrassment of riches when it comes to music. Surely, we could have done better.

Someone sent me a recording of the Calgary Olympics song. Even though it sounds dated, it was still much better than this bit of drek.
Only thing worse was Eugene Levy's kid and that other kid from MTV and their Olympic coverage that seemed to have nothing to do with the actual Olympics. At least he got his father's eyebrows, if not his talent.
